The Utah Festival of Opera and Musical Theatre has a lot more going for it than opera and theater.
It's got all sorts of formal and informal concerts and special performances in and around the town of Logan. And its got the Festival Academy, which offers seminars and classes that usually have an informational or thematic connection to the plays or the operas.

"Color Expressions" was one of those courses.  "Renowned artist Kent Wallis explains the artistic process as he creates an oil painting right before your eyes."  Way cool.

So I signed up.  And I captured a photographic record of the creative process while the competently multi-tasking Mr. Wallis painted a vibrantly colorful lily pond while sharing amazing and amusing insights into the life of a painter.

           And at last...  a signature.
